Wagon R VXi+ launched at Rs. 4.69 lakh

The top-of-the-line variant gets ABS with EBD and airbags, along with minor cosmetic tweaks

Maruti Suzuki launched an all new variant of its popular hatch, the Wagon R. The top-of-the-line VXi+ variant gets minor cosmetic changes and added safety features.

The VXi+ gets projector headlamps, chrome grill, 14-inch alloys and side skirts. Safety features include the addition of dual front airbags and ABS with EBD. The VXi+ can be had with both, 5-speed manual and automatic transmission choices. The manual variant is priced at Rs. 4.69 lakh while the automatic will set you back by Rs. 5.17 lakh. The ABS is an optional extra and costs Rs. 20k. There is also an all new shade on offer (Midnight Blue, as seen in the pictures), along with seven existing colours.

The WagonR has been a popular choice among the urban circles and Maruti Suzuki has sold over 19 lakh examples till date. With the additional safety features, we expect the WagonR to do even better from here.
