Limited edition Mercedes-Benz A-Class and B-Class launched

Mercedes-Benz India has launched limited edition variants of the A-Class and B-Class, named Night Edition. Prices for the luxury hatchbacks start at Rs. 27.31 lakh and Rs. 29.34 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom Pune). Limited to just 100 cars, the new kit includes black painted ORVMs, glossy black finished front and rear bumpers and 17-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels.

The Urban Package (part of the special edition) includes features such as an 8-inch infotainment system with a smartphone integration package via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leather wrapped sports seats with contrasting stitching, multi-functional steering wheel and gearknob. On the outside, the luxury hatchbacks get a diamond radiator grille with a black/chrome inserts and a chrome-plated tailpipe.

Power duties are handled by a 1.6-litre petrol engine which makes 120bhp and 200Nm of torque and a larger 2-litre diesel engine makes 134bhp and 300Nm. Both the engines are mated to a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox and come with four driving modes – Comfort, Eco, Sport and Individual. 6 airbags, traction control and Mercedes Benz’s attention assist package is all a part of the package.

The trendy and fashionable A-Class and B-Class ‘Night Edition’ are a synthesis of youthful design that emulates modern luxury without compromising on performance. We believe our new generation cars play a key role in attracting dynamic, affluent and young Indians to the brand and this success story will be further amplified by the launch of the ‘Night Edition’ variants.”

Mercedes-Benz India had launched more than one car every month last year, and with the launch of the Night Edition, we expect the same story to be followed in 2017.
