Skoda India registered 30 per cent sales growth in 2017

2017 was an action-packed year for Skoda India. The company launched a range of models including the new Rapid, the new Octavia and Octavia RS, and the Kodiaq SUV. Selling more than 17000 units overall, the company registered a growth of about 30 per cent in India in 2017.

Skoda’s sales growth in India accounts to a number of factors, the sales of the Rapid and the Superb grew by 30 per cent while that of the Octavia grew by about 12 per cent. Even the newly launched Kodiaq SUV managed to bring-in a sales figure of more than 700. The first batch of the Octavia RS comprising 250 units sold out in just about a month from when its sales started. Dealers are accepting bookings for the next batch and it is expected to arrive soon.
