Lamborghini to unveil the Urus on December 4

After more than five years of teasing us with the concept, Lamborghini has finally announced the launch date of the Lamborghini Urus; its December 4. The Lamborghini Urus will debut in Sant’Agata Bolognese, the home of Lamborghini. We expect the standard Urus to feature a 650bhp twin turbo V8. A plugin hybrid version is slated to follow a year after the Urus is launched. Lamborghini is betting big on the Urus and hopes that it will double Lamborghini’s sales numbers. The Urus is expected to hit sales of 3,500 units a year by 2019. Lamborghini isn’t really giving much away at this point apart from a rather cryptic, the Urus will have “the distinctive dynamic design DNA of a Lamborghini super sports car.” We expect the Lamborghini Urus to cost around Rs. 3 crore and be available around mid next year.
