BMW 320d Edition Sport launched

Sitting above the entry level Prestige variant, the Edition Sport is now the fourth variant of the 320d present in the country, priced at Rs 38.6 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Edition Sport variant gets minor visual updates and added equipment over the Prestige variant. The only noticeable difference on the exterior is the black kidney grille. While the changes on the interiors include a new steering wheel, seats with red stitching and chrome inserts on the console. While equipment upgrades include a 205Watt, 9-speaker music system and an electric sunroof.

There are no mechanical changes on the new 320d Edition Sport. It gets the same 4-cylinder, 2-litre, turbo diesel engine mated to an eight-speed auto ‘box, churning out 187bhp of power and 400Nm of torque. Launch control function is standard on the Edition Sport, allowing you to hit 100kmph in just 7.2 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited at 250kmph.

The Edition Sport variant sits ahead of the base Prestige variant and top of the line Sport Line and Luxury Line variants, which are priced at Rs 36.3 lakh and Rs 41.3 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively(the Sport line and the Luxury line are priced exactly the same).
