Auto Expo 2016: Datsun showcases the Go-Cross

This Auto Expo 2016, Datsun showcased its first crossover offering in the country, the Go-Cross. The Go-Cross is based on the same platform as the company’s currently running car in market, the Go and Go+. Being a targeted as crossover it gets black body cladding, increased ride height and high roof arches. At the front it gets Audi type headlamps and grille, typical crossover styled high mounted fog lamps which looks identically placed like the Skoda Yeti along with LED lights.

Everything else remains same, it gets four doors, will be getting the same 1.2 litre engine as standard and has beefier alloys. The all-new GO Cross is likely to be offered with two seating options – a 5-seater and a 7-seater. Datsun aims to compete with the likes of the recently launched Mahindra KUV 100 with it to be priced in the similar bracket.
