Datsun launches the Redi-GO Sport Limited Edition

Datsun has launched the Redi-GO Sport Limited Edition at Rs. 3.49lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). 2016 Olympic Bronze medal winner Sakshi Malik who is not only going to be the first customer of the Redi-GO Sport Limited Edition but is going to be a brand ambassador as well was also present at the occasion. The new limited edition Redi-Go Sport  will come with nine new features over the standard Redi-Go.

The Redi-GO Sport Limited Edition will sport a red theme accent on the front grille and the wheel cover. A black stripe running across the front hood and roof, another one across the profile and a roof spoiler. The car will also come with sporty graphics, and rear parking sensors. On the inside, it will incorporate a sporty dashboard, with black interiors and a bluetooth audio system. The Redi-GO Sport Limited Edition will also come with a Remote Keyless Entry as an additional feature.

The Redi-Go is powered by a 799cc three-cylinder DOHC petrol engine, which delivers 53bhp and maximum torque of 72Nm, mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The Redi-Go was launched just a few months ago, and since it is based on the Kwid, hopes were high for Datsun’s latest small car, but the numbers haven’t been as encouraging as it was expected. With the Redi-Go Sport, the Japanese brand should infuse some new energy into the hatchback by appealing to a younger audience.
