Audi India launches A3 40 TFSI Premium
The newest variant from the Audi stables will be the base version of the A3 retailing at Rs 25.5 lakh and gets new 15-spoke Y-design wheels, electrically adjustable mirrors but loses out on Xenon headlamps. The other petrol trim in the A3 range is the Premium Plus which retails for Rs 31.4 lakh.
The A3 40 TFSI Premium continues to use the same 1.8L in-line four petrol unit mated to a 7-speed S-tronic dual clutch transmission. The engine makes 180bhp and 250Nm and 0-100kmph is said to come at 7.3 seconds. It returns a fuel economy of 16.6kmpl.
On the inside, the car gets colour options of Black, Chestnut Brown and Pashmina Beige interiors. A new four-spoke multifunctional steering wheel is on offer along with electronically adjustable driver’s seat, rear AC vents and Faux leather and fabric upholstery, a chrome package and a lighting package.
The A3 40 TFSI Premium gets Audi’s music and Bluetooth system with passive speakers and Audi’s MMI command system. This variant also features light and rain sensors, a rear parking aid, automatic two-zone air conditioning, rough ride suspension, cruise control and a hill-assist function. Safety bits include seven airbags, anti-slip regulation, electronic stabilisation control and anti-theft wheel bolts.
